Beginner Class - August 14, 21. - Saturday dates available upon request.

SEATED FIGURE: Small Figure

Participants will create a seated figure in a one day workshop.  All general material and a basic stand will be provided.   Should participants wish to bring their own stand, they are encouraged to do so.  A pillar type candle stand is a good example of one which could be used for a seated sculpture.  Sculptures will be crafted using either black, grey or bronze Paverpol.   Participants may also bring other textiles such as laces or trim and jewellery, beads, silk or dried flowers with which to embellish their creations.

Cost of workshop:  $125 (includes all basic materials and light lunch)

Intermediate Class Dates to be determined regarding participant interest.

STANDING FIGURE - Regular Size - Prerequisite - Must have taken the beginner class.

Participants will create a standing figure in a one day workshop, using a variety of textiles and Paverpol products which will be provided to attendees.  Sculptures will be crafted using either black, grey or bronze Paverpol.  Basic stands will be provided. However, workshop participants may choose to bring their own stands. Attendees should bring their own textiles or trim and jewellery, beads, silk or dried flowers with which to embellish their creations.

Cost of workshop:  $175.00 (includes all basic materials and light lunch)

Specialty Workshop - Upon Request. Prerequisite - Must have taken Beginner class.

SPECIALTY WORKSHOP – Heron

Specialty workshops will vary, depending on the wishes of the participants with respect to the type of sculpture being created.

This course will involve the creation of a life-size heron sculpture.  Participants will be required to bring a roll of good quality (heavy duty) tin foil and should bring an apron or wear clothes which will tolerate stains.  All other materials will be provided.  In addition to the creation of the birds, the lesson will include the painting of the herons, time allowing.

Instructions for other specialty workshops available upon request.

Cost of heron workshop:  $225.

There will be many specialty workshops coming in the next few months.  I will post them as time goes on.  If you have a specific idea in mind, let me know and I can create a workshop for you.
